INTRODUCTION
Mechanical division is one division patronage under Melaka PWD.
It leads by Head of Assistant Director, Mechanical. Others form of Mechanical Engineer, supporting team and clerical.
Mechanical division form from three main unit which is workshop unit, project unit
and mechanical maintenance services in building.
Others unit are Administration, Finance, Costing and Store.

FUNCTIONS

Study, plan, design and call tender/quotation for development project, maintenance and machineries, air conditioner system repair and also pump system for all state and federal Government Department.

Control mechanical equipment purchase and new machineries especially for department usage and others.

Provide supporting advice services to the infrastructure and public facility purchase and transportation maintenance, road construction machineries, machine service equipment which provided in Government Building to all department and government agencies which is need. |
