ROAD DIVISION

Road Division is responsible

for developing a communication system and road network is perfect, complete, safe and

economicalto meet the needs of national development policy implementation.

Provision of proper road network and will provide efficient transport to areas not covered

by the network of roads and the opening and developing new areas.

 

 

 

 

 

                                                  FUNCTION

 

1. Implement the development projects of roads and bridges for Federal

    and State Governments.

 

2. Maintain roads and bridges that are always comfortable and

    safe to the user at all times.

 

3. Upgrading of existing roads, especially in terms of safety and

    comfort of road users.

 

4. Review and comment on development applications from the private sector

     involving PWD roads.

 

5. As technical advisor to the Government and Government Departments.

 

6. Carrying out the census and national traffic and a review of road safety.
